| 25 dead in bus-trailer collision near Lodhran |
 LODHRAN: At least 25 people including 20 students were killed, while 48 others wounded when a Lodhran-to-Dunyapur bus collided with a trailer near Lodhran on Friday.According to sources, the accident happened when Dunyapur-bound passenger bus collided with a trailer due to overtaking near Lodhran, killing at least 25 people and injuring 48 others. Twenty students, four women and a boy were among the dead. DPO Lodhran confirmed that 25 people were killed in the accident. Sources said that more than 100 people were aboard, while students were sitting on roof of the bus. The process of identification of dead bodies’ was initiated in the hospital. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed profound grief over loss of lives in Lodhran’s accident. |
